I would like to dye light blue 100% polyester shorts into navy colour, but if the outside stitching colour is cotton will that dye navy or stay light blue.

Good question. THere is a good chance that the stitching will stay light blue. Are you sure that it is cotton though, it would be surprising for poly fabric to be sewn in cotton, unless they were sewn at home or through a dress maker rather than a commercial venture. Cecile
