Although traditionally used in dressmaking for facings on light weight fabrics such as cotton and polyester, this is a life saver in the art quilt world. It will stabilise your lightweight fabrics, prevent fraying and reduce movement. Ideal to stabilise silks and velvets while piecing.

I am making a t shirt quilt and need a fusible interfacing. The kind I used is too light and is pulling away from the shirts. Do you recommend this product instead? Thank you. Mimi Willis

yes, I think it would work well. I use it on the back of silks, everthing from georgettes to velvets to get a stable surface, but not change the drape too much. Cecile
